He is fishing with a designed pole, not some found stick, I do see that. And that is not Detroit. (George Washington was sent to survey the Detroit area in the 1760's, or so, and claimed it from the French for the English, pre-USA.) (American Indians liked Washington and bloodily killed off the French in his sights and he nodded and accepted such.) :-)
