Refrigerated box cars needed Ice to keep food cold back in 1905. This is the icing platform, where crews loaded huge blocks of ice into the boxcars.

Yes, it snows here in the Great Lakes area ! But the Mortar Creek Timber Company won't let a little ( Lot ) of snow shut them down. Here we see old #6 clearing the main line with the trusty vee-plow !
