Thank you. This one was done very quickly a good twenty-five years ago. I don't remember what led to him putting his hands up like that, but his expression came from him watching me do this drawing. He was a good model to draw from but he had no real interest in art himself - at least I don't remember him expressing any interest in learning to draw.

You might be disappointed with my nudes. Since college I've drawn the nude figure from life only once and that model was twenty years old - about ten years ago. The other nudes are usually working drawings - lots of lines trying to define a pose - and they usually don't stay nude as I begin suggesting costume after I've found the pose. In fact, this drawing went through a nude stage. This rough drawing was developed into a painting that I have posted in another folder here. Other nudes that I've done were copies of poses in works done by other artists like Pascan, Pierre Joubert and others. These were usually done to learn things about drawing the body. Additionally, some were poses that I copied from other artists to use as starting points for developing poses for some of my painting ideas.

it looks like it could be a study for a painting.... from along time ago. maybe i'ts the clothes and hair. i wish it was larger so i could see the pencil strokes.
