This is NOT a 'gay issue'; an overwhelmingly, almost unanimous majority of the civilized world is in agreement that sexual relationships between adults and CHILDREN are inherently exploitive and unhealthful on numerous levels. We must not allow our FEELINGS for children, intense as they may be, blind our REASON, INTELLECT and SENSE.

Also, it appears as if you may have been exploited and taken advantage of yourself and this has caused you to see things the way you do. This is a very common reaction of those who have been victims- they go into denial and identify with the perpetrators and predators. If this is the case, then I truly feel sorry for what you went through but I hope that you can realize that by advocating the way you are, you are perpetuating a horrific cycle of abuse, exploitation and pain.

................Well Patrick.......there it is the sign there !.....in the proverbial Nut shell. And the only way to do this is live "True to Yourself" be totally Honest about everything and anything. Make eye contact, smile, say "good morning" and mean it. Standing at the door ready to leave.....clear your Mind and Focus.....Think only happy positive thoughts.....And Look for Good Deeds to do....simple selfless acts through out your day....remembering to think good things about people and situations...Smile some more !......I'm now at 47 years.....and just now figured this out. Until you cut yourself some slack...give yourself a break...realize you are not a horrible person. A sometimes Joy filled.....Generally A-Okay mostly happy life will remain elusive. Being care free and Happy 24 / 7 is not Reality. Staying high all the time thinking we are fine keeps us from having the one thing we so desperately want....to just be Happy...so see how this works.....only by being able to tell yourself and others that starting...NOW..."You are a Good and Honest Man" and this is only possible by being totally honest about every silly insignificant item through out the day...night...month...year...and years....people will see and know by Example, and by Example alone the statement you made is true. Being Happy comes naturally by putting these ideas into our every day lives. Gay or not this Is how it works in a judgemental MANS world....And all this takes practice for most of us that are used to staring at the tops of our shoes all day until we make it back to our safe Self made place of Isolation were we continue yet another day of intense Unhappiness......................The World According To....A.C.Firehelmet
