It's a long story to explain completely, but the largest part comes from the recommended videos on mainly the homepage, and a smaller part in the side bar. You need to have only similar videos in your watch history to get them recommended. Another way to find such videos is searching any word, or random combination of characters in youtube search or google image search, between "quotes" to get the exact word. And then if you get something on google, click on similar images and half of the time you keep getting the thumbnails of similar videos.
