This image is what I saw in him the first time I met him. To most people who knew him, he was just a bloody nuisance at best, and an incorrigble little bastard as a general rule. What I saw was a power and determination allied with a kind, gentle and forgiving nature. A true angel. His real nature had been buried by well intentioned but inept parenting and a culture where such qualities, so admired today in Western society, are considered a weakness. I determined to try to bring forth his real nature and nuture his natural abilities and quick intelligence. I began working with him to gently nudge him away from his self-destructive behaviour towards more constructive ways of expressing himself. He accepted the alternative methods entirely of his own free will. I simply showed him that such a path existed. Although I was only able to spend a limited amount of time with him at first, within just 3 or 4 weeks he had all but ceased fighting with other boys, and had gone from being a trouble maker at school to receiving an award for exemplary playground behaviour. Over the 6 months I have been mentoring him he has changed his behaviour and outlook dramatically. He is well on the way to living up to this image. I hope and pray he has the strength and courage to continue his journey alone now, as unfortunately, I am no longer able to guide him along the way. I know he is hurt and angry at the abrupt cessation of all contact with me, and I am not even at liberty to explain properly to him how and why this has happened. Despite his vehement denials, I am being investigated for sexually molesting him by filthy minded individuals whose brain resides in their reproductive organs.

Thank you. This is actually a repost of a small website I set up when I was first accused of molesting him. He was then 11. He is now almost 14, and I am still fighting 9 assorted child molestation charges. The police tried for some time to get him to admit that I had done so, but he persistantly refused to do so because it wasn't true. Finally, his mother refused them any further "interviews" with him, so the called in the so called child protection who threatened both him and his mother with removing not only him, but also his 2 younger sisters if he didn't "admit" to being molested. At that he finally gave in under the pressure and made a formal statement to police that I had molested him. Since then, I have been convicted 3 times for breach my "protective" bail conditions by having contact with him when he refused to stay away from me. I finally was forced to leave the community and change my cell phone number to prevent him contacting me again. I am currently in the process of challenging every single piece of "evidence" the police have based on the tactics used to obtain it. Meanwhile, he is an emotional mess again.

I might add that although he is almost 14, there is still no sign of him reaching puberty. He is experiencing delayed onset due to prolonged periods of malnutrition/malnourishment in his early childhood.

ozziedevil: I wish you every strenth in your efforts to obtain "justice". Yours is a touching story, but unfortunately one that is all to true and reapeated all too many times. Years ago in ameriKa one of the top "Child Molester Prosecutors" made a statement where he said "investigations are difficult. First we have to break the child so that he will testify". Be strong, friend.

OD: I responded unkindly to your comment on one of my albums, sorry. I did not know who you were and the comment seemed out of place. I have since deleted both the comment and my reply. BTW, I have not heard from you in a while, have you abandoned me? I get freqeunt mails from your friend, the traveler. Write when you find the time.

Yes, I've been following the Ferguson case. I consider the furor surrounding him to be a clear indictment of the criminal justice system. He deserved the prison time he got, but was never given any useful treatment while inside, so why would he change his ways? Most of my challenges to the police evidence have been heard, and as expected, rejected, but I still have a few up my sleeve. The evidence from all of the child witnesses against me has now been pre-recorded, and while the accusations the boys were forced to make have not been denied, other admissions were obtained from them that seriously jeapodise the prosecution case. My boy is now clearly a young man, but puberty has been extremely kind to him. I wish I could get some pics of him now, but I'm still not allowed any contact and only saw him once briefly at about 20 ft away outside the court and by video link during his testimony.

This image symbolises the cultural losses of his people. The stream depicted is in an arid landscape and is one of a very few permanent waters in the area. Before European settlement, this area was a significant camp and meeting point for the various groups who peopled the district. The intrusion of the western culture and the loss of the land is strongly symbolised by the fence running through the stream, in a land where once there were no fences and no clear boundaries, and where the people and animals could freely roam at will.

This image pretty much speaks for itself. It depicts his wild and freedom loving nature.

This picture represents "my" boy's future as it existed when he first came to me. He was an angry young man potentially locked into a life that was bound to lead him into social security and alcohol dependence. He was a virtually uncontrollable boy, who misbehaved constantly to attract attention to himself. He was doing very poorly at school and was regularly suspended for fighting. This image of the young man in the dark by a fire, by water represents aboriginal traditional lifestyle, but that lifestyle no longer exists. In the modern world that traditional lifestyle has been supplanted by unemployment, social security dependance and alcoholism. The flames coming from the globe symbolise the destructive native of his upbringing to that point. This is not intended to be a criticism of his upbringing. His family simply have no skills themselves with which to equip him to succeed in the 21st century. They are attempting to give him a sense of his history and culture, but they don't adequately convey that the past is past, and he needs to look to the future as well.

This image is doubly significant. First, it symbolises what the ignorant arseholes from the so-called Child "Protection" Unit of the WA Police would like to do to me. Second, it symbolises what they are doing to him. Before they arrived, he was a happy and for him, well behaved young man. Three weeks on, he is now out of control once more. They have crucified him..

This image has, thankfully, not come to pass. Although it cost me 3 convictions for breach of protective bail conditions and around $3500 in fines and costs, I did manage to convince him to knuckle down and learn at school and to control his behaviour. He is doing well at school and I have real hope that he will be able to find gainful employment and be a decent father to his own kids if and when that occurs. I am told he is also having a very positive influence on many of the younger boys in his community. He is soooo strong.

This is the original photo used to create the first and 5th image in this album

This is the originalphoto used to create the 2nd and 4th images in this album. He is sitting on the hood of my car with a splinter in his foot and scowling because I'm pointing the camera at him instead of helping him get it out.

It was actually taken in the Murchison region in Western Australia

It is about 2 km down the track ahead to the spot where the cops was waiting to intercept the girls in the movie "Rabbit Proof Fence" and a lot of the scenes in that movie were shot near here.

This photo of the gang at one of the local swimming holes was used to create the "wild and free" image, number 3 in this album. The two on the right of the pic were living with me on a full time basis at the time. They were both 11 when this was taken. All 4 of the boys in the foreground had suffered physical, mental and sexual abuse, and major neglect all of their lives. The one at the rear is a friend who had been relatively well cared for.

My case is going well, so far. The boys have had their evidence pre-recorded and were quite helpful to my defense. I'm pleased to report that "my boy" who could barely print his own name when these photos were taken has worked hard at school and was able to read off the affirmation, which is not simple language, without a hesitation or pause and without a single mistake. He is now 14. He has essentially caught up with 8 years worth of schooling in the last 2 years.

I came across this photo of a Russian boy singer on the Kids Music web site, and could get over how much he resembles my boy in appearance. Compare this pic with the next one in this album which is my boy aged 10
