There were several times that I’d leave the door to my office open when disciplining a girl sent to my office. I can only imagine the embarrassment and fear that they felt knowing other students and administrative staff could walk by and see them receiving their licks. And after they changed the rules and there had to be two staff members present for a paddling, I would almost always leave my door open for others to see and hear.
