It is not speedo. This is a much healthier cotton underware. Speedo is a crapy neylon thing which in Europe is worn on the beaches and in the swimming pools. Evene though neylon was invented only to protect the filters at swimming pools. In the rivers and seas there are obviously NO filters, and NO need to wear the crapy (any very unhealthy!) speedos made of neylon.

Maybe you're right. But I think reason why youngs in western country wear speedos even on the beach are more cultural than practical;

He is quite confident that here in Kyiv, his diamonds are secure. Had he been in Belgium, this might have been a different story - his diamonds would be much more susceptive to theft.

1) Yes. The Russian and Ukrainian police are in general more effective than yours. Sometimes too effective, and one has to be afraid that the police will rob you (not the thieves). 2) I was actually meaning not those who steal money in the streets, but those who would wish to steal something more private from a boy.

From this point of view, I would like to be a Ukrainian policeman! Boys with large packages run the risk of being scanned more closely. Maybe for 1 week? Until it turns out that everything is fine... ;-)
